Ever lose something really important? What did you do to find it?
In Luke 15:1-10, Jesus shares two parables with some very important lessons. We are told that He will search for His lost sheep with reckless abandon, willing to leave everything on the table to reach and find you and me. We are told that when what was lost has been found, all of heaven rejoices and celebrates, for there is nothing greater.
We are also challenged in several ways, remembering that we should live on earth as it is in heaven. We must celebrate the great joy when those that are lost are found. Celebrate as they do in heaven. We also must search with reckless abandon for those that are lost and show God’s love that has been shown to us.
